LeoTun

Global Internet Freedom Alliance

2026-08 We are now LeoTun (formerly RoyalShield). Your account, servers, pricing and setup are unchanged — no action needed. The name shown on payment pages and in emails is updated accordingly.
2026-08 Private network is now live: no server picking, no config changes — your devices connect directly for a faster, steadier link. We recommend it as your first choice; find it under "Private" in the top nav.
2026-09 New router firmware is out — please update. OpenVPN is back: download a profile, import it, and connect in one tap.
2026-09 Every page now ends with related guides — usage basics, common problems and fixes, and typical scenarios — to help you understand the VPN system and use it more smoothly.
2026-09 Hong Kong is back (ChatGPT and Claude are not available there — pick a Southeast Asia server if you need them). Iceland has been retired.
2026-09 Price update, bigger discounts: Family 8 USD/month, Enterprise 16 USD/month; discounts start sooner (Family from 6 months, Enterprise from 3 months). Time you've already paid for — including annual plans — is not affected.
2026-09 New Personal plan: 4 USD/month for 2 devices, routers included — everyone should have a VPN router.

How to Get Good Answers from the AI Support

Updated 2026-09-28

LeoTun's AI support, SpongeBob, answers around the clock in our Telegram, QQ and Discord groups, replying in the language you write in. How good the answer is depends mostly on your first message: which device, which connection method, which region, and what error you see. Give all four and it can reply with steps in one go; just "it doesn't connect" and it has to ask first. Screenshots of errors are welcome, and any language works. Anything that needs our back office — refunds, charges, banned accounts — it hands to a human.

Put these four things in your first message

  1. Device and system: e.g. "Windows 11 laptop", "iPhone, iOS 18", "Android, Xiaomi 14", "GL.iNet router". Steps differ by system, so without this it has to ask.
  2. Connection method and region: private network, AnyConnect, OpenVPN, web proxy, Traffic Camouflage or router, and which region (e.g. Japan, China). Each method is diagnosed differently.
  3. What happens and the exact error: no connection at all, connected but slow, or dropping after a while; just send a screenshot of the error — it can read it — or type the text out. If one site or app fails, name it.
  4. What you already tried: another region, another method, a restart, another network (Wi‑Fi vs. mobile data) — mention it so you aren't asked to redo it.

Good and bad ways to ask

  • Bad: "Can't connect." Good: "Windows 11, AnyConnect to Japan, spins then says connection timed out; Korea does the same; home broadband is China Unicom."
  • Bad: "It's slow." Good: "iPhone on Traffic Camouflage, Singapore; pages load but video keeps buffering, worst after 9 pm."
  • Bad: "How do I do it?" Good: "Just bought the Family plan and want our Xiaomi TV to use it too — how?"
  • Bad: renewal, region change and router in one message. Good: one question at a time; answers are more precise and easier to find later.

Getting a reply in each group

  • QQ group: @SpongeBob when you ask. The group owner and other users answer too, and while someone is already handling your question it stays quiet on purpose; @ it again to bring it back.
  • Telegram group and Discord: just ask, no @ needed — even "anyone there?" gets a reply.
  • Ask in any language — English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian and more; it replies in the language you use. No need to ask the same thing in all three groups; it's the same support behind them.

Every reply comes with a voice message

Each of SpongeBob's replies also comes as a voice message. It's there for people with low vision and for older users: if reading is hard, just play the audio — it's deliberately spoken slowly. Older relatives who find typing difficult can send a screenshot and listen to the spoken answer.

What it can help with

  • Using the service: sign-up and trial, prices and credits, renewal and plan changes, installing each connection method, picking a region, flashing and binding the router.
  • Troubleshooting: no connection, slow, dropping, a site or app not working — step by step from what you tell it.
  • General device settings: network settings on computers, phones, tablets and TV boxes, apps that won't install, confusing system prompts — it walks you through the steps.
  • It answers only from our own material and doesn't make up numbers; when unsure it says so and asks you to @ the group owner.

Go straight to a human for these

  • Refunds, payments not received, double or unexpected charges.
  • Banned account, authentication failures, router binding conflicts.
  • Router shipping, delivery, damage and warranty.
  • How: @ the group owner in the QQ group, or email the support address on the Contact page, or add the human support QQ listed there. Include your account email and what happened.
  • The AI won't send connection addresses: sign in on the website and click the region flag in the matching section to copy one.

Safety

  • Never post passwords, verification codes or payment screenshots in a group, nor config files, QR codes or subscription links — they are your account.
  • Blur connection addresses and tokens in screenshots before sending them.
  • Support never asks for your password, codes or payment in private messages, and never asks you to install remote-control software; anyone who does isn't us.

FAQ

Is the AI support a real person?

No — it's an AI called SpongeBob, online 24/7. Anything it can't handle it passes to a human via the group owner.

Why didn't it answer me in the QQ group?

In the QQ group you need to @SpongeBob. It also stays quiet while the owner or someone else is answering you; @ it again to bring it back.

Can I ask in English or another language?

Yes, any language works; it replies in the language you write in.

Can I send a screenshot of the error?

Yes, just send it — it can read the error and prompts in the screenshot. Blur connection addresses and tokens first.

Why does every reply include a voice message?

It's for people with low vision and older users — they can listen instead of reading, and it's spoken slowly on purpose. If you read the text, just ignore it.

What does "please @ the group owner" mean?

The question needs a human — a refund, a charge, a banned account, or it isn't sure. Follow the prompt or email support, and a person will follow up.
